Proximity and Distance
If you're poor, be wealthy in humility
as Jesus was both poor and wealthy.
If you're rich, be poor in spirit
There is a way to the attainment of .perfection.

She Was A Ship
Her belly ripped, her ribs in pieces, her kitchen wares scattered far and wide,
her wheel house crooked, leaning hard, there she lies a mile down.
She was a ship
Off the coast of South America
where the Orinoco flows into the Atlantic
a periscope waits like a one eye monster.
Then a grey spot appears on the grey horizon
which provokes the U boat captain to turn his cap backwards.
and wait some more.
The Freighter Soraya in perfect profile,
a torpedo is dispatched to her midship.
It hits and sends the ship into a frenzy of fireworks.
Naturally, the crew on the submarine celebrates.
In war, you either celebrate periodically or sigh endlessly.
In the murky bottom there she lays. She was a ship the goblins eat.

Angels We Have Heard
Roads talk to drivers from divers directions,
floor boards, pedals, rear view mirrors
and the seats of our pants.
No driver needs to drive the long stretch lonely.
Thanks be to the angel on board, the faithful copilot.
GPS. Glory to technology in the highest.

Time and Remember
Rundown freighters tramp the seas
Their engines churn and sputter
Their bundled waters would wanna quit.
It happens alike to old sailors that keep on sailing
'cause an old age home ain't no dream boat.
It happens alike to factory workers in rust belts.
The fates of tired ships are sealed.
If not on Friday scraped, On Monday,
they might be beached.
If neither plays out, an unexpected sinking
might make of them new habitats
where light hardly reaches.
So it is. In the man made,
everything eventually is wasted
and junk yard heaped, In nature, nothing ever is.

Moon Women
We transmit light
We entertain darkness
Like the moon, we wax and wane
Our female cycles are similar

Sounds and Effects
Sound enters spirit through body.
Health is harmony. Peace is prosperity.
Prayer originates in the heart.
Mind replicates the Cosmos.
