Be dull, be gray, be boring, be passionless.
Be not a slave to emotions,
neither of exaltation nor of depression.
One is no better than the other.
Each carries its own liabilities.
Let people call you lifeless.
You know better, you experience anxiety daily,
but restrain yourself to not show it.
Only when one has become totally dull, boring, and passionless
can one turn on the fire hydrant of true happiness.
