As usual, this hour of the day,
the traffic bumps bumper to bumper.
Everybody's going home from a hart day run,
including yours truly a harried worker of the phone business.
Well here I is, wanting to cross into Allgood from La Olla..
A driver of civil mindedness (on the other side) leaves an opening,
but the driver in front does not jump at the opportunity.
In fact, for about 10 minutes, she just sits there
like a deer caught in the headlights, as they say.
I honk her to move. She flicks me the finger. I note her bumper sticker;
"Socialism is not cool." her feelings in general, I;m sure concerning civic mindedness.
More and more, I come to the belief,
the opposite of socialist
is fascist oink-oink
